Another summer birthday cake to bake and friends and family to invite to the summerhouse. It’s an annual tradition to bake the delicious Norwegian bløtkake for Tristan and Inigo’s birthday bash.

The bløtkake was two layers of vanilla chiffon cake and lemon. In between the yummy layers, Tristan laid out vanilla cream with banana slices, strawberries and homemade raspberry coulis.

After the cakes were placed on top of each other, Inigo started on the whipped cream frosting, and Tristan began decorating the cake with blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. In between slices, Tristan tasted the freshly picked blueberries while Inigo took a sneak tasting of his freshly whipped cream frosting.
